Kobe Bryant's Nike "Kobe 8 Elites" sneakers, worn by the Lakers legend during a game against the Golden State Warriors on April 12, 2013, are being auctioned off. In that significant match for him, the late Hall of Famer tore his Achilles tendon in the fourth quarter but managed to make two free throws and tie the game before hobbling off the court.
The sneakers are being auctioned by Sotheby's and according to TMZ, they could be sold for over $600,000. The bidding will begin on February 7th.
