According to Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction, agreements have already been made with investors for the lease of land plots for the construction of the facilities. The total area of the buildings will be nearly 20,000 square meters. It is expected that these new facilities will create 650 new jobs and attract over 1.5 billion rubles in investments.
Earlier, Yefimov announced that the city has provided land lease benefits for this project. The new manufacturing plants will contribute to the development of the clothing industry in the region and provide opportunities for economic growth and job creation.
The establishment of these clothing production facilities aligns with the city's urban policy and the goal of expanding the industrial sector. This initiative aims to promote local production and reduce dependence on imports, while also supporting the development of the textile and fashion industry in Moscow.
