Charles Leclerc, the Formula 1 driver, was surprised and pleased with his third-place finish at the Dutch Grand Prix. He admitted that it was a tough weekend for him and his team, but they were able to overcome their problems and execute a perfect strategy during the race.
"I'm very surprised! I don't often celebrate a third-place finish, but today we can be fully satisfied with our work in such a difficult weekend," said Leclerc.
From Friday to the race day, Leclerc and his team encountered various issues. However, they were able to find more pace during the race and execute an ideal strategy. They undercut two of their rivals and then managed to keep them behind. It was an outstanding performance from the team.
"I never thought I would be on the podium after such a tough weekend," Leclerc added, expressing his disbelief at their achievement.
