The Alena Akhmadullina brand has presented its latest collection, "Belogorye," which draws inspiration from the folk crafts of the Belgorod region. The collection showcases a unique ornamentation style called "black and white embroidery," which is not found anywhere else. This geometric pattern, rooted in the ancient Slavic culture, has been used as a basis for prints and embroideries.
The collection mainly consists of dresses, but also features garments specific to the Belogorye region, such as the famous "sinak" coat, sarafan, and poneva. What sets this drop apart is that it was created in collaboration with local artistic and creative collectives, as well as involving local enterprises. Additionally, a competition was organized among art schools to create the best drawing dedicated to the old Osokol toy. The winning works became the basis for the collection's prints.
Previously, Alena Akhmadullina released a campaign for the spring-summer 2024 collection, inspired by Alexander Pushkin's fairy tale "Ruslan and Lyudmila."
