A recent study in Russia has revealed a significant increase in the demand for sports clothing and footwear. Specifically, in the period from July to September of this year, the demand grew by 45% compared to the same period last year. This surge in demand can be attributed to the anticipation of upcoming autumn races and marathons.
According to the study, the top 5 most popular items include sneakers, canvas shoes, t-shirts, sports pants, and socks. The sales of sports footwear alone increased by 88%, with sneakers experiencing a 57% growth. Sports suits saw a 49% increase in sales, while outer sports clothing grew by 26%.
The company behind the study explained that this trend is driven by the growing interest in running in the country. Running has become increasingly popular, leading to a higher demand for sports-related products.
