Bovet, a renowned watch brand known for its traditionally formal style and expert craftsmanship, has been under the ownership of Pascal Raffy since the early 2000s. Raffy has consistently invested in a holistic approach to watchmaking, developing and producing watches in-house with a rare level of vertical integration.
The new Récital 12 marks the next chapter in Bovet's legacy. In response to collectors' requests, Pascal Raffy created a more casual and everyday-wear timepiece on a bracelet. After two years of meticulous design and development, the Récital 12 bracelet watch was born. The bracelet, made from grade 5 titanium, showcases Bovet's signature craftsmanship and attention to detail, with brushed and polished surfaces accentuating a distinctive V-shaped design.
The Récital 12 features a hand-wound movement manufactured in-house, boasting 227 components and an inverted construction that showcases its balance wheel on the dial side. The dial itself, available in dark blue, emerald green, or turquoise, is also manufactured in-house and features the Bovet lotus flower motif with 12 petals marking the hours. The depth of the color is achieved through the application of seven layers of lacquer.
The Récital 12 comes with a 5-year warranty and is priced at [price]. The 40mm diameter titanium case is both brushed and polished, with sapphire crystals and 30m water-resistance. The off-centered dial displays the hours and minutes at 3 o'clock, with a small-second indicator at 9 o'clock and a power reserve indicator. The finishes of the movement are superb, with circular Geneva stripes and blued screws.
Bovet continues to uphold its reputation for excellence and craftsmanship with the introduction of the Récital 12. This watch offers a more casual and everyday option to collectors, while maintaining the brand's signature style and attention to detail. With its unique V-shaped bracelet design and in-house movement, the Récital 12 is a testament to Bovet's commitment to innovation and tradition.
