Desyrée Nicole and Gabriella Paulino were overwhelmed with emotions at their wedding. They both shed tears throughout the day, despite thinking they wouldn't cry after being together for so long. The wedding took place exactly ten years after they first met in 2014. Both Desyrée and Gabriella work for Todd Patrick, Desyrée's menswear line. Desyrée is the creative director and Gabriella is the COO. Desyrée, who appeared on Next in Fashion, designed her own wedding suit and made custom suits for friends, the officiant, and her NFL player clients. She traveled around the country to take measurements and ensure a perfect fit.
The couple's wedding was a simple and intimate affair with only 60 guests. They chose a villa in Tuscany, Italy as their wedding venue, as they both share a love for the country and have visited Florence multiple times. The couple wanted their guests to have a unique experience and to remember their wedding as a special part of their time in Italy.
The wedding festivities began with a cocktail party at a nearby bar. Desyrée wore a dress from Zara while Gabriella wore a dress from Abercrombie. The couple was thrilled to find Villa Monsoglio as their wedding venue, and the planning process was made easy with the help of their wedding planner, Sandro Poli. They stayed at a nearby villa along with 35 of their guests, which allowed everyone to get acquainted before the ceremony.
The brides opted to get ready with a small group and did their own hair. They wanted the day to be intimate and a blending of their families. Gabriella wore a dress from NEWHITE by Juliette Kim, while Desyrée designed her own Todd Patrick suit to match Gabriella's gown. Desyrée's favorite moment of the day was the first look, where she couldn't hold back tears upon hearing the sound of Gabriella's approaching footsteps.
Guests were given champagne as they arrived and wore black attire. The wedding was officiated by Bennie Fowler, a former NFL player and close friend of the couple. Desyrée entered with her parents followed by Gabriella and her father. The ceremony was filled with overwhelming happiness, and both brides were surprised by their tears. The whole event felt perfect and special.
The couple had a long table decorated with candles for dinner, which was served family-style to create a casual and intimate atmosphere. Even though the fried chicken did not meet Desyrée's expectations, it didn't dampen the mood. The dance floor came alive thanks to their friend Jordss, a professional DJ from London. Their first dance was to "Mine" by Alex Isley and Jack Dine. Getting married on their ten-year anniversary held a great significance for Gabriella and Desyrée, as it marked a milestone in their journey together.
